In 2010 Sara Ruddell took over the head coach position for the LCRC Gators swim team.  She is a graduate from San Jose State with a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and comes to the Gators with eight years of coaching experience and 14 years of swimming experience.  She served as a head coach for recreational and YMCA teams.  She held positions, such as pool manager and aquatics director, and she most recently ran the swim lessons program for the Sierra Marlins in Folsom.  She has an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude about swimming and is extremely passionate about coaching.  She says, "I love working with kids of all ages, helping bring out their full potential as athletes.  So, let's get ready for a very successful and fun-filled season!  Go Gators!!!"
